“It constantly amazes me how much people are willing to spend for the place that they want to live in and cheap jerseys having the downtown experience,” Van Sickle said.

According to data from Wichita Downtown Development Corporation, the average price per square foot in the area is about $1.50. At http://www.cheapjerseys11.com/ that rate, a 600 square foot apartment would cost $900.

Van Sickle said price per square foot is rising every year.

“In Wichita, the hub of activity is Old Town, so that’s where people want to live the most when they want to live downtown,” he said.

An average one bedroom in Old Town will cost you anywhere between from $800 to about $1,300, depending on the square.

Eyewitness News wanted to see if we could find a one bedroom for that same price in a larger city. In downtown Kansas City, apartments range from less than $700 to nearly $2,000.

Van Sickle knows people are not willing to pay that downtown price, but still want the location. That’s why Flats 324 Apartments added smaller units with a more suburban feel.

“We tried to create a price point that would give people more options,” Van Sickle said.

But even those do not come cheap.

Eyewitness News called apartment associations in Tulsa, Omaha and Kansas City to compare price per square foot. We were told they do not keep track of that information.
